Welcome to Bea Arthur in the lime light. A fan site that gives
a collective approach to Bea's work and life.
I wanted to build this site to share my personal thoughts,
experiences, and collection of Bea Arthur. I think she is
an unsung hero of actresses. She has accomplished major achievements,
in which I'm not even sure if she realizes.
I have always watched Golden Girls since I was a kid, but
it wasn't until last year when I started watching Maude reruns
on Tvland, that I realized what a unique person she is. I
then started to do research on the web to learn more about
her. Then started buying anything and everything of her on
Ebay, ending up with a massive collection. What disappoints
me is that I still do not know much about her. It has been
hard to find much of her past, pre-Broadway days, on the net.
Therefore, I wanted to create this page for other people wishing
to learn more about her.
Here I will write a biography from all the information that
I have found out, from the magazines, television interviews,
and anything else I have on her. I will post my entire collection
of mine on here, as well that I have collected personally
and/or have purchased. I will clear up any false information
that has circulated through rumors and offer other resources
of online information.
I hope that you'll enjoy your experience here and learn more
about this terrific, yet intriguing actress. User feedback
